Yogi government will provide employment to 7.5 lakh youth with training allowance before 2024 elections


Sarkari Naukri in UP: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is preparing to give training and allowance to 7.5 lakh youth before the 2024 general elections (Loksabha Chunav). Under this, the Yogi government will select youths from every 75 districts and provide them with allowance along with skill training. Along with this, it will also help in getting employment in the government or private sector. This assistance will be given under the CM Apprentice Scheme of the UP government. 

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself announced this on the day of UP Day. CM Yogi had said that the BJP government will give vocational training to the students of Science, Arts, and Commerce in one year and will also give allowance till they get employment.

The UP government will provide an allowance of Rs 8-9 thousand to all these youths for 12 months of training. The central government will spend Rs 3825 crore and the state government will spend Rs 2460 crore on this program. Actually, the Yogi government has launched the CM Apprentice Scheme. In this, youth with diplomas or degrees in vocational or technical training were given benefits. Now graduate students have also been included in it. 

According to the government, this allowance and training will be given to the youth for one year. They will also be helped in getting employment. In each of the 75 districts of UP, 10 thousand youths will be selected for training. Before the Lok Sabha elections, this initiative is considered very important to answer the criticisms of the opposition on issue like unemployment. 

Any youth can apply online through the CM Apprentice Scheme website. In this, graduate applicants will get Rs 9,000 per month and diploma holders will get Rs 8,000 per month. 

It may be known that students who have received skill development training from industrial training institutes like ITI are already being given help. About 1.75 lakh students who have received skill development training from ITI (Industrial Training Institute) have been given financial assistance since 2016. 4 thousand rupees per month is given to ITI students under this program.
