There is a commotion among Uttar Pradesh’s state employees, according to Lucknow. Those over 50 who are employed in government departments would be forced to retire by the Yogi government of the state. The government has mandated that decisions about the forced retirement of those employees who are implicated in corruption, have major illnesses, are unable to work, or are the subject of investigations must be made by July 31. By August 15, the Personnel Department must receive a report on this.
Let us know that the state’s employees retire after they reach the age of 60. 58 years old used to be the retirement age in various departments. A commotion broke up among the state workers on Tuesday when Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra gave the department heads an order. In fact, the order specifies that the screening committee will take into account any employees who will have turned 50 on March 31, 2022. There is no need to keep bringing up the name of a government employee who has reached this age to the screening committee if the decision to keep him in service is made once by putting a proposal before the committee. Such an employee will remain in their position till they retire.
At the same time, the government has made note of the fact that the personnel in their current positions are valuable, whose performance is better, who are putting their all into their work, and who are not under investigation or suspected of any corruption. Those will not be subject to punishment.
