Here are a few lesser-known facts about the well-known Bhojpuri actor-turned-politician.

Dinesh Lal Yadav was born into a farming family and is a resident of a hamlet in the Ghazipur district. Few people are aware that before Dinesh became famous, his father earned only 3500 rupees each month. The family continues to reside in the village’s ancestral home.

Dinesh has always enjoyed singing and studied music under the tutelage of his cousin Vijay Lal. He started entertaining people by singing at public gatherings to hone his vocal abilities. He claimed that receiving Rs 500 in compensation for participating in an event was his first income.

If you’re curious in how Dinesh acquired the name Nirahua, here’s what happened. He published the song album Nirahua Satal Rahe in 2003, and it became so popular with the public that he became known simply as Nirahua.

With Humka Aisa Waisa Na Samjha, Nirahua made his debut in the Bhojpuri film industry in 2006, and he hasn’t looked back since. In 2012, he even had the opportunity to star in the movie Ganga Devi with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, which continues to be a turning point in his career.

He had previously expressed his anxiety over meeting Big B in an interview, saying that the Bollywood star had made him feel as though God had physically arrived in front of him.
