This year, according to PM Modi, the GDP should grow by 7.5 percent

NEW DELHI: India’s economy is expected to grow by 7.5 percent this year, making it the fastest-growing in the world, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. China will host the virtual BRICS meeting beginning on Thursday.

Starting on Thursday, China will host the virtual BRICS Summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). He attributed the accomplishment to the government’s campaign promise to “reform, perform, and change” and forecast that India’s digital economy will be valued USD 1 trillion by 2025. No other nation in the world, according to him, has ever experienced the digital economy’s quick expansion.

The Indian government has developed a national master plan to enhance infrastructure, and the prime minister claimed that there is potential for investments in its national infrastructure totaling USD 1.5 trillion in a keynote speech that was videotaped.

The PM urged the BRICS Business Forum to serve as a conduit for contact with Indian start-ups. He pointed out that India currently has the world’s strongest innovation ecosystem as evidenced by the expanding strength of Indian start-ups.
