“They continued to support us even when we gained more MLAs,” Shinde hails the BJP and the PM

Eknath Shinde, the newly elected chief minister of Maharashtra, is praising the BJP for forming a new administration. CM Shinde claims that the BJP has backed the Shiv Sena in order to advance Hindutva (Shinde faction). He further mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had pledged his complete support at the same moment. Let us know that 164 votes were cast in favour of the Shinde government during the majority test that was conducted in the Maharashtra Assembly on Monday.

Speaking to the media, CM Shinde also questioned the operations of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) administration. He claimed that the Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which were participating, were attempting to gain political momentum while Shiv Sena MLAs were finding it challenging to operate under the MVA system. CM Shinde remarked, “The general public had the impression that the BJP will do anything to maintain its position of power. However, they have demonstrated to the populace that these 50 individuals have embraced Hindutva ideology, have a development-focused agenda, and should be backed. They continued to support us even after we had more people and MLAs. He backed us for the CM position.

Further, CM Shinde claimed that PM Narendra Modi had requested him to lead the state’s growth. He stated: “That is significant. The national government is on our side. Nothing that we have done is unlawful. The BJP and the Shiv Sena formed an alliance prior to the elections. We are supporting that party directly.
