The Moosewala murder was planned by the Lawrence gang, and an aide to the ‘primary shooter’ was apprehended in Pune, according to authorities

On Wednesday, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police claimed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail, was the mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala last month, while Pune Rural Police claimed to have arrested a close associate of the suspected main shooter in a previous murder case in Maharashtra.

H S Dhaliwal, a Special CP (Special Cell) in Delhi, told the media that his squad had identified five guys who were involved in Moosewala’s murder and that they will be arrested shortly.

“Although the case is in Punjab, our team has offered five suspect leads…”

“We provided Maharashtra Police with information, and they arrested Mahakal,” he claimed.

One of the eight sharpshooters in Moosewala’s murder is Siddhesh Hiraman Kamble, alias Saurav, alias Mahakal, who was detained by Pune Rural Police on Tuesday. The Pune district is represented by Kamble and Santosh Jadhav.

Both the Delhi and Maharashtra police will question Kamble, according to Dhaliwal.

According to PTI, Maharashtra ADG (Law and Order) Kulwant Kumar Sarangal claimed Kamble and Jadhav were both implicated in the crime and knew about the Moosewala murder plot. “Santosh Jadhav was the shooter in Moosewala’s murder, according to information.” He is being sought by the police, he informed PTI.

According to Pune Police, Kamble was detained in connection with the murder of history-sheeter Onkar Bankhele, alias Ranya, who was killed last year at Manchar police station. “After Jadhav’s murder last year, Kamble is suspected of sheltering him,” police added.
