Try the simple chocolate oats dish provided by dietician Nidhi Gupta.

Ingredients

Rolled oats, 25g
Chia seeds, 1 tablespoon
Low fat milk, 150 ml.
Unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon – Day
Coffee, 1 teaspoon
crumbled dark chocolate
Five: Cashews
Peanut butter, 1 teaspoon

*Combine each component. Allow the chia seeds to swell and the oats to soften for 30 minutes. Enjoy!

Why consume oats?

Rolled oats, sometimes referred to as old-fashioned oats, are soft and mellow in texture and have a propensity to soak up a lot of moisture. The oats are put through big rolling mills to be toasted, hulled, steamed, and finally rolled. Oat milk, smoothies, baked fruit toppings, granola, muffins, snack bars, and cookies are the best things to prepare using rolled oats. Complex carbohydrates are claimed to help people feel fuller for longer and are also high in protein, iron, zinc, and magnesium. Soluble fibre is said to decrease cholesterol.
