Rahul Gandhi to Visit Mansa Today, Meet Parents Of Slain Singer Sidhu Moose Wala

According to sources, former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi is expected to meet with family members of deceased singer Sidhu Moose Wala at his home in Punjab’s Mansa district today. Last week, unidentified intruders shot and killed Moose Wala. When the popular Punjabi singer was slain, the Congress leader was out of the country.

In the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections, Moose Wala ran on a Congress ticket from the Mansa seat. Rahul Gandhi will pay a visit to the murdered singer’s parents in his native town of Moosa in Mansa district and offer the Congress leadership’s sorrow. During his visit to the area, he will be joined by Punjab Congress leaders, according to PTI.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, met with Moose Wala’s family at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Chandigarh earlier on Sunday. He was in town to kick off the Khelo India Games. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also met with Moose Wala’s parents. On June 3rd, he expressed his sorrow for the occurrence. He promised the singer’s family that the issue would be handled swiftly and strictly, and he chastised opposition parties for “playing politics” with the singer’s death.

On May 29, a day after the AAP government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reduced security cover for 412 VVIPs, the Punjabi musician was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Punjab’s Mansa district.
