Lulu Mall arrives in Lucknow with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore


In a lavish ceremony held in the state capital on Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath officially opened the Lulu Group’s Lulu Mall-Lucknow. Lulu Mall Lucknow, a Rs 2,000 crore project, opened to the public on Monday and is situated on Amar Shaheed Path in Golf City.

The chief minister said he was “very pleased” with how the project was coming along. Not just for residents of Uttar Pradesh, but also for visitors from other countries, he continued, “It is going to be a hallmark destination.”

The company’s efforts to promote the growth of cities like Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Kanpur, as well as its promotion of the export of agricultural products from Uttar Pradesh, were also praised by the CM.

The mall is Lulu Group’s fifth in the nation, following those in Kochi, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Thrissur. Speaker of the state Assembly Satish Mahana, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Minister of Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion for Uttar Pradesh Nand Gopal Gupta, or “Nandi,” Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, and other high-ranking officials were also present at the inaugural event.

Additionally present at the occasion were the Lulu Group’s Chairman and Managing Director Yusuffali M. A., Executive Director Ashraff Ali M. A., CEO Saifee Rupawala, Lulu India COO Rejith Radhakrishnan, and Regional Director Jayakumar Gangadharan for Lulu Lucknow.

After the official opening, the Chairman of Lulu Group gave the Chief Minister and state ministers a tour of the mall and hypermarket and gave them an explanation of the many areas, features, and amenities.

Lulu Mall Lucknow will provide the city with a top-notch shopping experience thanks to its flagship Lulu Hypermarket and entertainment district Funtura. More than 15,000 direct and indirect work possibilities will be offered by the mall, he claimed. “More work possibilities will be available to the locals after our forthcoming projects in Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Greater Noida are finished. I appreciate the cooperation provided by the UP government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanathji in order for this massive project to be completed successfully.
