Encovax is an inactivated SARS-Cov-2 delta (Covid-19) vaccination for animals, according to the ICMR. Both the SARS-CoV-2 delta and Omicron strains are immune to enokovax. The vaccine comprises inactivated SARS-Cov-2 (Delta) antigens, according to the ICMR. Alhydrogel is used as an adjuvant. Dogs, lions, leopards, rodents, and rabbits are among the species that are regarded safe for this vaccine in this situation. In recent research, scientists at the University of Florida discovered evidence that some coronaviruses, which previously solely infected animals, have become more lethal. It can now be transmitted from pigs and dogs to people.

SARS-CoV-2 has been discovered in 29 different animals, including white-tailed deer, cats, dogs, ferrets, rats, otters, and tigers, according to scientists. The virus is transferred from animals to humans in the majority of these cases. Scientists discovered that mink (a species of beaver) transmitted the virus to people in November 2020. White-tailed deer exist in high numbers near people in North America. Antibodies were identified in 40% of deer examined in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and New York between January and March 2021. At the same time, at least four Americans will contract corona infection from mink in 2020.
