Juma is today, therefore after prayers there shouldn’t be anything unpleasant, so the UP Police went out into the streets

Lucknow: The police and administration in Uttar Pradesh have once more been notified in light of Friday prayers. In all key cities, police conducted flag marches around significant sites and shrines to reassure the public about the security measures. Today is Jumei prayer, thus the police are marching down the street to enforce peace.

In order to stay safe for Friday prayers, more police have been stationed in critical areas. 24 districts have been designated as hypersensitive, including Kanpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Sambhal, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Agra, Hathras, Firozabad, and Aligarh. Under the Sector Security Plan, tight security procedures have been created in each area. The Shahi Idgah Masjid and Shri Krishna Janma Sthal pathways in Mathura were all flag marched by numerous police units. In Mathura, strict security measures have been put in place in preparation for the Jumei prayers. The police have also raised their awareness in Deoband, one of the most delicate cities. A sizable number of police troops are also present behind the Deoband SDM and CO, who are in charge.

Around Darul Uloom Chowk, police marched with flags in a number of locations. Every Jumei, thousands of namazis visit the Rashidia Masjid in Deoband, putting the police on high alert. Everybody is being watched over by drone cameras, and there is a videography system in place. The police organised a flag march in Noida as well to give the public assurance that security measures will be increased.
