Rumors surfaced after claims of stone-throwing at a film team, claiming that Emraan Hashmi was hurt. On Tuesday, the actor used Twitter to make it clear that the rumours were untrue. Emraan is currently filming Ground Zero in Kashmir for Marathi director Tejas Vijay Deoskar.

Emraan tweeted early on Tuesday: “It has been an amazing pleasure to shoot in Srinagar and Pahalgam since the people of Kashmir have been so friendly and inviting. It is untrue that I was hurt during a stone-throwing incident.” Emraan did not, however, confirm or deny that the event involved his production team.

In response to the tweet, the actor’s followers expressed their worry and some even expressed relief that he was safe. Glad you’re okay star, one of them wrote. Maintain your health and keep tweeting. Someone else added, “Thank God! It was false information. Be careful, boss @emraanhashmi.

Filming for Emraan’s movie Ground Zero has been going on. He arrived in Kashmir last month, and for the previous few weeks, he has been filming there. An earlier ANI report claimed that one guy had been detained for reportedly throwing stones at a Pahalgam film team. According to reports, the event happened on September 18 while the production team was filming in Pahalgam.

The news agency was informed by the Anantnag Police, “On September 18, when the filming was coming to an end at 7:15 p.m. in Pahalgam, one rogue threw stones at the cast and crew. As a result, a FIR was filed at Pahalgam Police Station. The criminal was located and taken into custody.”

It was the first time Emraan had visited the valley, a crew member was reported as saying in a story from Greater Kashmir on August 29. “The film unit has started filming, and the actor arrived in Srinagar on August 24. The shoot would last for the following 15 days and take place in several Srinagar sites, including the Dal Lake, he said.

Bucket List, starring Madhuri Dixit, was previously directed by Tejas. According to reports, Ground Zero also features Sai Tamhankar opposite Emraan, who is said to be portraying an army officer.
