The G-20 summit will take place in New Delhi, India, on September 9 and 10, 2023, according to a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday. Beginning in December 2022, India’s G-20 presidency is anticipated to hold more than 200 meetings across the nation, according to the Ministry.
The G20 is an important international meeting that brings together the biggest economies of the globe. More than 80% of the global GDP, 75% of global trade, and 60% of the world’s population are accounted for by its members.
The ideals of inclusiveness, adaptability, and diversity should serve as the foundation for multilateral collaboration in the G-20, according to President Draupadi Murmu’s remarks from the previous week. She expressed optimism that the G-20 Forum will go forward under India’s presidency with the intention of bolstering multilateralism and global governance in order to create a peaceful, sustainable, and prosperous world for all.
