During the forthcoming summer travel boom, China will experience 520 million rail rides

The summer travel season, which begins on Friday, is anticipated to see 520 million rail rides in China, according to the nation’s railway operator.

According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., the summer travel season will span 62 days this year, from July 1 to August 31. During that time, the railway operator predicted that 10 million passenger trips would be made overall.

As college students return home and transportation demand increases due to family visits and travel, the summer travel rush is typically a hectic time for China’s railway system.
