The Raksha Bandhan trailer from director Aanand L Rai, starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, has generated a lot of buzz online. Actor Dhanush has now endorsed the trailer, which was released last week. The star remarked that the movie appeared to be another “magic show.” “from the director. Raksha Bandhan.. looks like yet another magic display by @aanandlrai and Himanshu Sharma! Best wishes to the whole cast and crew of Raksha Bandhan, including @akshaykumar sir, @bhumi pednekar, wrote Dhanush while uploading the movie’s trailer.
Dhanush previously appeared in Atrangi Re, which was directed by Aanand Rai and featured Akshay and Sara Ali Khan.
Raksha Bandhan, which is based on the idea of a sibling relationship, tells the story of an older brother, played by Akshay Kumar, who fights to marry his sister due of dowry. Despite working nonstop, he struggles to secure dowry funds for the unions of his four sisters. Akshay’s relationship with Bhumi Pednekar, whom he has loved since they were children, suffers as a result because he had told his mother that he would only settle down when his sisters were married.
This is Rai and Akshay Kumar’s second time working together on a film, Raksha Bandhan. “My relationship with my sister Alka has been the centre point of all my life,” Akshay stated when discussing the movie. It is an emotion of a lifetime to be able to share a love so beautiful and pure on TV. There are very few people who can portray emotions so delicately on screen, which is further evidenced by the way Aanandji portrayed the straightforward subject with such heart and soul. Being a part of this is a blessing to me.”
Raksha Bandha, which also stars Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Smrithi Srikanth, Sadia Khateeb, and Abhinay Raj Singh, is produced by Color Yellow Productions, Cape of Good Films, and Zee Studios. On August 11, the movie is scheduled to open in theatres. Interestingly, it will compete at the box office with Laal Singh Chaddha by Aamir Khan.
