It helps remove oiliness from the skin and functions well as an exfoliant. Regular use of gramme flour also helps to close open pores. Apply yoghurt and two tablespoons of gramme flour to the face as needed. Apply the paste for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse with water. To get the best results, use this technique twice per week.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Toner – Astringent qualities in apple cider vinegar assist to constrict pores and lessen excessive oil production. It serves as a fantastic all-natural skin toner. To produce a toner, combine one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with one tablespoon of water. As a toner, dip a cotton ball in the mixture and apply it to your face.

3. Baking soda – Another fantastic culinary product, baking soda helps to soak up all the extra oil from the face and helps to tighten pores. Combine one spoonful of baking soda with one cup of warm water. Apply the paste to your face once it has reached a smooth consistency. After ten minutes, remove it with cold water. After, apply a gentle moisturiser with a gel base.

Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Sonia Tekchandani, founder of Tender Skin International, shared five easy yet powerful at-home methods to reduce oiliness and open pores.

1. Egg whites – Egg whites are great for minimising pores and giving you a firmer, more toned appearance. Acne and blackheads are prevented by controlling oiliness. Two tablespoons of oats, one egg white, and a few drops of lemon juice are combined. After 20 minutes, apply this paste to your face and rinse it off with water. After that, apply a moisturiser. Use this mask two times each week for the best results.

2. Multani mitti or Fuller’s earth – Clay masks are renowned for drawing out all the superfluous oil from the face and revealing a clear, bright complexion. It thoroughly cleans the pores and also works to tighten them. Additionally, it is an excellent natural exfoliant for the skin, removing dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. Combine one to two tablespoons of rose water with one tablespoon of Multani mitti. For a smooth consistency, thoroughly stir the mixture. Apply this combination, and then wait 15 minutes before removing. Use cold water to rinse off.
