Brahmastra: Meet Mouni Roy’s Junoon, who Ayan Mukerji refers to as the film’s “surprise package.”

Director Ayan Mukerji published actor Mouni Roy’s motion poster from Brahmastra on Tuesday, branding her as the “unexpected package in the film.” Mouni’s character in the film is named Junoon, according to Ayan.

Mouni’s performance in the film, according to Ayan, will have a lasting influence. “I believe a large number of people will leave Brahmstra talking about Mouni’s performance as Junoon,” he added. “Moun – who has tremendous faith and surrender for Lord Shiva – has always understood Brahmstra so effortlessly – and with that understanding, she really killed it with her part in our movie!” he continued in his caption. I offered her a’special appearance’ in Brahmstra during our first meeting. She eventually shot with us from the first day to the end, and she’s the real surprise package in the movie!”

Brahmastra’s trailer will be unveiled on Wednesday. While it has been stated that Brahmastra is a fantasy film with supernatural aspects, the narrative of the film has been kept under wraps.

In various interviews, Ayan has stated that the film has been in development for about nine years. The film’s production began about five years ago. Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is the first instalment of a proposed three-part series.

The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, in addition to Mouni, Alia, and Ranbir. Shah Rukh Khan is said to make a cameo appearance in the flick.

The film Brahmastra will be released in theatres on September 9th.
