Alluri Sitarama Raju, the personification of Indian culture: Prime Minister Modi

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the independence fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju embodies the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, which has united our country.

Speaking during Alluri Sitarama Raju’s 125th birthday celebrations at Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh, the prime minister lauded the freedom fighter.

“We commemorate Alluri Sitarama Raju’s 125th birthday as India commemorates Azai ka Amrit Mahotsav. The 100-year “Rampa Kranti” period for India’s independence is also finished at this time. I pay him respect by lowering my head “PM Modi said.

PM Modi emphasised that the story of India’s freedom movement is one of sacrifice and tenacity throughout the nation and that it is not only the history of a few decades, places, or people.

According to the prime minister, everyone can be inspired by Sitaram Raju Garu’s life story, from his birth to his sacrifice. He dedicated his life to the rights of tribal community before giving his life at the young age of 27 in a sacrifice for India’s independence.
