Akhilesh offered the position of CM, and Yogi’s deputy says “their 100 MLAs are ready to join”

Akhilesh Yadav’s suggestion to join forces with 100 BJP MLAs and become the chief minister was mocked by Uttar Pradesh’s deputy chief minister on Wednesday. Keshav Prasad Maurya claimed the SP leader was making “absurd comments” in order to be in the news. Yadav had stated on a televised programme that the Samajwadi Party would assist Maurya if he took a page out of what had occurred in Bihar.

Since being removed from office, Akhilesh Yadav has been acting like a fish without water, Maurya told reporters in Barabanki.

The head of the Bharatiya Janata Party asserted that 100 legislators from the Samajwadi Party are prepared to defect but that his party does not require them.

“His 100 MLAs are prepared to defect to the BJP, but we don’t need to split his party because our government is functioning normally with a full majority,” the speaker said.

“He says things like this to stay in the press, which is stupid. Although he is opposed to the BJP and backward, Akhilesh Yadav is not one of my well-wishers “Maurya made a claim.

Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, the head of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, had earlier criticised Akhilesh for his open offer and said the SP leader should be concerned about his “alliance, his family, and his party because his MLAs are in touch with us.”

“Keshavji is a devoted supporter of the BJP’s philosophy and a seasoned member of the organisation. He is not a selfish person, thus he will always remain by our side. Akhilesh Yadav won’t be able to manage him; he will dominate him “Chaudhary stated in a Hindi tweet.

“Akhilesh Yadav should worry about his alliance, his family, and his party since his MLAs are in touch with us,” the newly appointed state BJP chief added.

Before the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Yadav was able to enlist lesser groups, such as his uncle Shivpal Yadav’s Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohiya). However, after the BJP’s spectacular victory in the state elections, cracks in the coalition have become apparent. While Shivpal Yadav recently severed ties with Akhilesh, Om Prakash Rajbhar, the leader of the Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP), another Samajwadi Party alliance partner, supported the NDA’s victorious presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu. Akhilesh Yadav has recently been the target of taunts and attacks from Rajbhar.
