Ajay Devgn and Tabu reveal the release date for Drishyam 2 and promise “yet another spectacular voyage”


Drishyam 2, the sequel to the 2015 criminal thriller Drishyam, has a release date. The film, which stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the key roles, is a remake of the same-named Mohanlal film. Actor Akshaye Khanna has joined the cast of the popular thriller, although nothing is known about his character.

Tabu announced the Drishyam 2 release date on social media, writing, “#Drishyam 2 launching in theatres on November 18th 2022.” On his social media pages, Ajay Devgn also confirmed the film’s release date.

Drishyam told the narrative of Vijay Salgaonkar, a family guy played by Devgn. After an unpleasant occurrence involving his elder daughter drew the attention of the authorities, he did everything he could to protect his family. Tabu played Meera Deshmukh, the Inspector General of Police, in the film. The creators have guaranteed that the sequel will take the audience on “yet another spectacular voyage.”

Tabu had previously shared photos from the sets of Drishyam 2. “Day 1. Drishyam 2,” the 50-year-old actor captioned a photo of a clapboard. The film began shooting in February. “Delighted to have a gem of an actor on board for #Drishyam2 Akshaye Khanna #TrulyTalented,” she wrote on Instagram, welcoming Akshaye Khanna to the film’s team.

Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta star in Abhishek Pathak’s film, which is directed by him. Drishyam 2 is set to conclude production in Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Krishan Kumar produce Drishyam 2, which is co-produced by Sanjeev Joshi, Aditya Chowksey, and Shiv Chanana.
