In the midst of the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the BJP is up in arms once more after a clip of a Congress leader—who is also a Brahmin—insulting members of his caste went viral. In the widely circulated video, KK Mishra, the chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Congress committee’s social media cell, is heard saying that brahmins also commit some wrongdoings before substituting some abusive words for the wrongdoings of Kamal Nath, a former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh and a member of the Congress. The Madhya Pradesh BJP has vowed to obstruct Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in the state as a result of this igniting a fresh issue.

However, KK Mishra asserted that the BJP had misconstrued his remarks and was alarmed by the yatra’s early success. “The video was produced in a lab. This is a plot by some BJP members against me. I’ve shared the interview’s video on my social media pages. You can obviously hear every word I said in that video, he told ANI.

In response to a question regarding the state government taking action against Brahmin officials in light of the recent suspension of the superintendent of police for the Jhabua district and transfer of the district collector, KK Mishra made the remark in an interview with a member of the local media. In addition, the SP was expelled for reportedly abusing pupils who called him for security over the phone. And the Congress leader seemingly showered insults in response to this query.

KK Mishra stated that although he is pleased to be a Brahmin, he puts humanity above all else and is unable to defend a Brahmin who engages in injustice.

Workers from the BJP demonstrated outside Kamal Nath’s home in the state on Tuesday and asked that he be expelled from the party. They threatened to obstruct Rahul Gandhi’s yatra when it reached Madhya Pradesh if no action was taken against him.

“Abusing BRAHMINS, promoting anti-India George the Hater, legitimising Hijab on a child = BHARAT JODO,” stated BJP member Shehzad Poonawala in a tweet about the popular film.
